Pharmacie Du Kirchberg (Achten Nicole)

Everyone knows that client service is not the top pick for Luxembourg. However, this pharmacy manages to re-define bad service. I will definitely avoid going there again.

I came here to write my review and was shocked by the number of negative reviews to this pharmacy. What I saw there was a nice and helpful team, multilingual, ready to help. I am very happy from the service and I highly recommend it.

A uniquely lazy and rude pharmacy that enjoys a disgraceful monopoly in the (extremely populated) area - and this needs to be broken yesterday. On top of the mostly terrible service and that half of the times you go there, you have to go again the next day to fix something that went wrong the first time, on top of the famously paralyzing queues (the biggest sole downside of this uncomprehensible monopoly, if you had to chose one), the management is somehow legally (?) able to keep the farmacy closed all day on Saturdays. You are one of the thousands of residents of Kirchberg and you need a medicine on Thursday night of a long weekend? You'll have to wait about four days for this kartel-like operator to be open again... As this is a regulated health service and not a supermarket, it's time for people to formally complain to the Minister de la Sante and demand at least two more pharmacies in the area.

I don't understand where all the negative feedback comes from. I went on a Friday, around 3pm, and altough there weren't a lot of parking spaces (tram is nearby, however), the wait wasnt long and they have a ticket station. There were 8 desks opened simultaneously and the service was excellent.

Very unaccommodating and unhelpful service. They are the only pharmacy in Kirchberg and the closest one of size for other neighborhoods closeby: this lack of alternatives seems to have inflated their egos to the point of rudeness. If you can, drive a little farther and receive better, more honest and human service for less cost. It's worth it to not experience their disregard or lack of understanding when picking up your medications.
